Working during pregnancy

You may afraid with your job when you plan a pregnancy. Some working women believe that once they announce their pregnancy, they will face workplace pressure to stop working or change positions in the company. Today, things have changed for the better, and there are a number of federal and state laws that will protect you during your pregnancy.

If you're planning to work throughout your pregnancy, you're not alone. Many pregnant women can work as long as they'd like. And if you have trouble with balance as your pregnancy progresses, you might want to stop working during the last few weeks. Many women find that working until the end of pregnancy keeps them happy and occupied and help them not to focus on the discomforts. If you wish to continue working well into your pregnancy, you need avoid several things:
  • Sitting for long periods.
  • Standing for long periods.
  • Work stresses.
